Project description. This is a label for a new sweet rose wine recently introduced in the market.
The project required a clear label to be applied over a clear, very slender and tall bottle. The color of the wine itself, was the core of the project: a clear and transparent red.
The designer wanted a no-label-look in the form of a window. The frame of the window was to be printed in white, and the main theme within: falling leaves and the wine’s name and logo printed in orange. The window interior has a faded gray tone darker in the upper part and clearer in the lower, resembling a sunrise.
This complex label of clear film, required the faded gray to be printed in letter-press and the white window frame and vintage year to be printed in silkscreen. The wine’s name and the falling leaves were foil hot-stamped in orange pigment to be clearly visible. The resulting label has a soft-tone and elegant personality. |
