Mezcal is a traditional hard liquor similar in clearness and texture to Tequila. Based on this transparent feature, the client requested the back label to be reverse-printed in order to see the Lucifer logo thru the bottle.

This proposition was solved printing in a double layer of clear film and silver foil paper, each one printed and piggy-backed together. The clear film was reverse-printed in black and red PMS with the Lucifer profile.  The  silver foil paper, which has only text, was printed in black and red with a resulting metallic look of the red. After laminating the clear film over the back of the foil paper, the final result forms a single label with front and rear view.

The front label is smaller, it is silk-screen printed in clear film, and has a no-label-look. The final store-shelf-look of the bottle gives a very catchy and peculiar 3-D effect.
